Block 6 Concept

Block 6 is a project that I did on how best to develop a piece of land in Manchester City centre.

I designed Block 6 by starting with an infinity logo, I played with the layout for a while until I decided on splitting the infinity sign in half to make it look like a number 6.

With some help from a digital designer I created the Block 6 Concept and then modelled it.

As the site is near a body of water I looked at the reflections created by the building by placing it on a mirror, this is to show the potential reflections the building would project.

My Block 6 concept is made up of six segments of different property use such as, residential, learning, hotel, office, storage and leisure.

The layers created within the design allows for all these components to exist cohesively.
